Yesterday was Easter Sunday. Went to church with Dad and Char and enjoyed a great worship service. Their church has a wonderful choir and Char and I went up to join them in singing the "Hallelujah Chorus." Later in the day, we went with them to a barbecue at the home of one of their daughters. It was a large gathering, everyone enjoying being together and watching March Madness basketball. The evening was spent Tucson-style in front of a gorgeous new outdoor gas fireplace on Dad and Char's patio. I felt homesick for my kids and my family yesterday but I'm lucky that they live nearby and we can spend nearly every holiday together.
Dreaming, planning, preparing and undertaking an extended trip to the American west in a truck with my husband of 31 years.

Tucson
So, we're back in Tucson having been away for almost two years. Places in town may come and go, construction continues but the mountains remain the same. Thank goodness! Below is a photo of my view as I write this post. These mountains turn pink in the late afternoon as the sun sets. Char says, "When the mountains turn pink, it's time for a drink." We'll be hanging with Dad and Char until Thursday morning when RBK and Dad fly to Atlanta and attend the Master's practice round on Monday and visit with family there.
